The Mediation Process

Initial Consultation

We discuss your needs and determine the best approach.
– Both/All parties will be reached to provide their version of events
– Mediator will research issues/policies/laws pertaining to case

Mediation Sessions

Our mediators facilitate discussions to explore solutions.
– Meetings will be conducted online or at a suitable hired venue
– Initial session will be an introduction to mediation, the case, and both parties’ brief accounts
– Separate individual sessions will be used to facilitate progression in the discussion

Agreement

We help draft a mutually acceptable agreement.
– Options of different offers will be tested and explored in private sessions until proposals are finalised to give to other party
– Negotiation will be facilitated with patience and attention to detail
– When both parties find the final agreements acceptable, we can help to put this in writing.
